- The Italian Cultural week, which celebrated the 50th Anniversary of the signining of the Treaties of Rome, took place from 10th to 16th March 2007 with three events amply covered by the media and attended by a big crowd: a painting exhibition of the artist Mariano Chelo , Bob Marongiu and Fulvio Tornese, a 'live art workshop' at the Kuwait Arts Association with the participation of Italian and local artists, a jazz music concert performed by the two italian musicians Enzo Favata (saxophone) and Giorgio Pacorig (keyborards).
- The exhibition 'Islamic Art in Sicily' promoted by the University of Palermo and organized by our Embassy and the Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs took place in the Great Mosque of Kuwait on the 27th March 2007. A great success with a large public and media attendance, the exhibition focused on the role of Arab and Muslim culture in the history of Sicily - with a conference by the Lady Professor Valeria Piacentini - and a display of the architectonic and artistic heritage left by the Arabs in Sicily. The Ministry of Awqaf and Religious Affairs has welcomed and appreciated the event as part of a larger program intended to foster a better understanding between the Islamic and the Western world.
- On the 5th Decenber 2007 the Amato-Ionata Quartet perfomed a jazz concert in the Al Babtain Theatre. The concert was appreciated by a large public and received extensive press coverage
