This website seeks to provide a window from which to deepen the knowledge and contribute to the improvement of relations between Italy and Jordan. These pages can serve as a starting point from which you can begin an enchanting journey in two countries with a millenary history that nowadays enjoy strong relations in the political, economic and cultural fields. The Embassy’s role is to strengthen these relations, improve the Italian presence in the economic and cultural fields and assist Italian Institutions and Italian citizens.

Our relations with Jordan are excellent. Italy appreciates and sustains the constructive role played by the Monarchy in the peace process, in the fight against terrorism and in diffusing the values of Islam. The commercial relations are lively and Italy is the second exporter to Jordan among the European countries and the fifth worldwide. Our Official Development Assistance encompasses many sectors, and most importantly, in a country that suffers from a severe scarcity, the water sector.

Jordan has a fascinating cultural heritage and our country has several archaeological missions exploring all the phases of its history.
