Message of the Ambassador  

I am very pleased to welcome all visitors to the new web site of the Embassy of Italy in Bangkok, competent for Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. The new format follows the pattern of the Italian diplomatic-consular web site network which was praised by the specialized media.
The strong increase of bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Thailand, testified by numerous high level meetings organized during last year, and the renewed commitments of our Country to providing collaboration and assistance in Cambodia and Laos make it particularly complicate to summarize all current and complete activities into the web site. Consequently, on this topic you will find a "photograph" of the whole Italian presence in the Countries of competence, while the Embassy of Italy remains naturally at your complete disposal to provide more detailed information on specific topics.
I am confident that the new web site, still in the completion process, could satisfy the needs of web navigators and I would like to thank in advance those who will provide us with suggestions to make this divulging instrument and service more advantageous and usable.
