One-Stop-Shop Center
The "One-Stop-Shop" Center is created following the Agreement between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Productive Activities and Institute for Foreign Trade. According to the strategic guidelines of the Agreement, the whole "Italian (commercial and productive) System" is introduced overseas altogether and with one-stop-shop center as a constant point of reference for businessmen. In principle, it is to put together in one roof, in each country, all the Italian institutions for promotion of the "Italian System" in foreign countries in order to avoid duplications, to operate with more efficiency, to increase competitiveness of Italian productive system and to accompany Italian companies overseas in a more appropriate way.
In Thailand, a "One-Stop-Shop" project was created, with office at the Italian Trade Commission of Bangkok. The connection with the Embassy is assured by frequent presence of an official of the Embassy at the center. While waiting for the approval of the law on necessary resources for the functioning of "One-Stop-Shop" center, the project in Thailand represents mainly a close exchange of information among the three entities involved in their coordination in order to provide services and requested information according to their respective competences, avoiding the overlapping and the waste of resources.
