Economical and Technological Cooperation Agreement into force from 1996. This agreement sets up the bilateral Mixed Committee, which meets periodically (the last session was held in Rome on July 17-18th, 2007)

Mutual Promotion and Protection of Investments Agreement, with Additional Protocol into force since summer 2004

Memorandum of Understanding on Enforced Political Consultations into force since summer 2005

Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education, Research and University and Qatar Foundation signed on March 7th, 2006, entered into force since then

Exchange of Letters on Port and Anchorage Charges and Duties, signed on October 17th, 2006; into force since April 11th, 2007

The Agreement against Double Taxation was signed in 2002. A correcting Protocol will be signed in the next weeks, in order to submit the Agreement to the ratification of the Italian Parliament

Cultural Cooperation Agreement, signed on January 14th, 2007, waiting to be ratified
