Welcome to the new website of the Italian Embassy in Dublin which has been completely updated on the basis of the new standard internet sites of the Italian diplomatic network and of the ever increasing visibility of the “internet system” of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  

The website is easily accessible with a choice of colours and graphics which offer a modern and advanced image of our country in line with the perception which the Irish people have of Italy as a land of creativity and design.  

This website is in two languages (Italian and English) for easy consultation  and with a selection of links to the different services offered by our Country.  It will continue to improve in order to  provide the most up-to-date news and information. 

The pages presented by the Commercial Office, as well as clearly underlining the relationship between Italy and Ireland, constitute  an essential point of reference to gain a complete picture of Italy’s economic reality.

The many links to the main websites of commercial institutions and offices of both countries  make them an essential work tool.  

The Consular and Visa section of this website contains many interactive pages which will reduce the talk-time required with the user. They are designed for a more logical and intuitive consultation and, at the same time through links to other websites,  provide the user with the most up-to-date information.  

With regard to cultural matters, I would like to remind the user of the constant activities carried out by the Italian Cultural Institute in close collaboration with this Embassy.  The calendar of events is published on the independent website of the Italian Cultural Institute.   

I hope that this newly constructed Website will be a useful point of reference for all those who live, study and work between Italy and Ireland.
