COOPERATION DEVELOPMENT IN ZIMBABWE
Italy is traditionally amongst the major donors in Zimbabwe, both bilaterally and through its contribution towards the aid programs of the EU and the principal organizations of the United Nations (FAO, OMS, UNESCO, UNICEF, UNDP).
The first Joint Commission agreement on technical and economic cooperation between Italy and Zimbabwe was signed in 1982, the second one in 1988 and the third in December 1991.
