March 2003: visit to Uganda by the Minister of Agricolture, Hon. Gianni Alemanno
April 2003: Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sen. Alfredo Mantica, visited Gulu, in the North of the country, then, on the way back, he participated in the IGAD Summit in Kampala
August 2003: Visit to Italy by Vice President Bukenya, hosted by the NGO AVSI. He attended the "Meeting" in Rimini.
October 2003: Visit to Uganda by Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, Senator Alfredo Mantica
February 2004: Visit to Uganda by the the Senate Commission on the Human Rights Delegation, led by Sen. Enrico Pianetta
July 2004: Visit to Uganda by  Hon. Alberto Michelini, Personal Representative of the Council of Ministers’ President for G8 Africa, accompanied by a delegation of enterpreneurs.
