·        insures export credits with social capital underwritten by the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Finance;  

·        assumes, in the form of insurance and re-insurance, the political, economic and commercial risks to which Italian operators are exposed in international transactions;  

·        supports the exportation of Italian small and medium-sized enterprises by facilitating their access to insurance through two strategies based on the possibility of letting companies choose the kind of relationship they wish to set up with SACE: 

    -        direct strategy: Global Policies stands out among the various insurance instruments available, and is designed for companies that have continuous trade relations with various foreign debtors; 

    -        indirect strategy: activities mediated by private banks or insurance companies.
