Message from the Italian Minister of External Affairs Hon. Franco Frattini to the Indian Minister of External Affairs Hon Pranab Mukherjee

I would like to present my deepest condolences and express my personal sorrow for the grief that has struck India following the terror attacks in the city of Mumbai which have provoked such a terrible loss of human life.
On behalf of my Government and all Italians, I wish to express my most sincere solidarity, together with the strongest condemnation for these acts of inhuman violence, which strengthen the commitment of the international Community to act with the utmost determination in the struggle against terrorism, also in order to bring to book the authors of such vile attacks.
I wish to express my concern for the situation of hostages, and hope that they will soon be freed unharmed.
