ID card for Italians residing abroad.

16/07/2007 - A recently passed law has extended the possibility also to Italians residing abroad of applying for an ID card issued by Italian Consulates. Eligible for the ID card are Italians regularly registered with the AIRE who are at least 15 years of age.

The Italian Embassy informs therefore Italian citizens residing in Norway and Iceland that as from July 2007 they can apply for an ID card at the Embassy’s Consular Section. Please consult the Italian version of this site for information on how to apply and to download the relevant forms.
