Welcome message
I am pleased to welcome the visitors to the website of the Italian Embassy in Riga, through which we aim at facilitating the contacts with the Embassy and, more generally, with the composite and variegated Italian scene. We think indeed that an ever-increasing mutual knowledge is essential between two Countries which are linked, among other things, by the common membership to the EU and NATO. Several links will connect you with the main websites of the Italian Public Administration, including the network of Italian Embassies around the world. Of course we don’t delude ourselves to be able to answer all the possible enquiries about Italy, but our intention is to provide basic information as a condition for further investigations and contacts. While hoping that your visit is useful and agreeable, I will appreciate every relevant suggestion in order to create an ever more user-friendly website.
