High-tech sectors, where Italian companies have reached very satisfying results of specialization, could be a good starting point for synergies and interactions with local industry, mainly in instrumental and plant engineering sectors. It is important to develop not only equipment delivery, but also industrial cooperation and investments. Nevertheless, in spite of the actual potentialities of the country, the interest of Italian companies remains weak.
