The Italian Embassy in Nigeria, operational since 2003, is located in the capital city, Abuja. The journey to its present permanent location has been transferred from Lagos to Abuja  where it moved into the Common European Union Embassies Complex in May 2005.
The Consular and Commercial Offices of the Embassy are operational in Abuja, while the VISA Section is managed by the Italian Consulate in Lagos.
